Building the new home

It began in January 2014 the opening of trenches for foundations and implementation of cuttings, which will support the new facility, which has the technical name of "polyvalent home" and that is part of the architecture design for CAEFZ, with the expected completion by the end of May this year.

This home will provide an extremely important support for the next ACAREG , as will be of great use to all the scouts who want to use it for cantonment in the future, conduct training sessions, host all kinds of meetings or advice, serve support to larger activities, as it will be equipped with an industrial type kitchen ... etc ... We will be in touch!

Opening of ditches

Was held the opening of several ledges in eucalyptus recently ceded by Camara Municipal de Ferreira Zêzere to CAEFZ, enabling us to have a maximum capacity of 3,000 scouts in camp. We will briefly perform the compaction of the lands and cleaning these same lands so as to be in perfect condition to receive our Scouts who will participate in ACAREG.

It also follows the opening of several ditches in CAEFZ for  electrical distribution infrastructure, telecommunications, water extensions, sewers (sanitation) and fire network, thus finalizing the completion of the second phase of the architectural design for downtown activities of the Lisbon region in Ferreira Zêzere.

Alert ... we will build a tree climbing route.

The tree climbing is a sport and an adventure practice. Constitutes crossing a walkway suspended between mounted platforms in the trees . This course is prepared strategically, using steel cables and ropes , with the ultimate goal of increasing the challenge and adrenaline of adventurers .

The CAEFZ wanted to build a route with these characteristics , not only for the approaching regional camp , but also building an infrastructure that was part of the activities proposed by the center in the near future .

We consulted companies and scout friends with training in this area ... and we have a project and " technical experts " to help us in its construction , leaving only missing the required hand labor by the scouts .

Let stand the challenge , if there's avaliability from our clans and their leaders and want to make a BA in favor of this Centre Scout Activities in the Region of Lisbon , join us via Lisbon Regional Board until March 14, 2014 . Expenditure transport are due to the Centre .

C.A.E.F.Z is visited by the persons responsible...

On January 18, 2014, the organizing team ACAREG promoted a visit to CAEFZ with the various heads of the groups that will participate in the camp, showing the field, showing the improvements that have been and are on course to receive the next ACAREG, but also for future use as center Scouting Activities of all our Scouts.
