With the restrictions regulated by Decree-Law n º 309/2002 of 16 December on the "Camps Occasional" , our groups were debating at the time with some difficulties and bureaucracies to accomplish its outdoor activities , making it an immediate concern around the CNE in the search for alternatives, because nature is and always will be the greatest scope for the training course for our youth.

Thus was born the Regional Team then the need to find a "space" with certain characteristics that could serve and meet the needs of our groups for the realization of their camps and an array of other activities that contribute to the development of a comprehensive program education for all those who visited us.

 

Appeared the opportunity to "Ferreira Zêzere" with its extraordinary scenic beauty, located in the center of the country, with all necessary for good practice of terrestrial and marine scout with the support of Camara Municipal de Ferreira Zêzere and their characteristics Town Board not forgetting the various institutions and local associations , the realization of an architectural design done by a team of leaders of our association and the willingness of other friends of the National Corps of Scouts / Scouting Catholic Portuguese was born ..."CAEFZ" - Scouting Activities Center Ferreira Zêzere.

 

The goal of this team is to continue to give "life" to this great project , recommending all urgent and necessary to improve the conditions of our host clusters changes.

We have good infrastructure in supporting users and a designated space "Adventure Field" where you provide the technical means and security conditions required for the realization of radical activities.

 

We appreciate the contribution of ideas and collaboration of the various clusters in the completion of some of the work carried out in the Scout Centre and hope to continue to have your wonderful support in building this "our" / "your" project, which will be a great contribution to the formation and education of our young scouts .
